Manual student account creation and maintenance created administrative burden for IT and increased the possibility of delays or inconsistent access. Each enrollment change, account update, or password issue could require hands-on support from technical staff. The school needed a more scalable identity lifecycle model that could automate account creation from its Student Information System while also improving account security through self-service password management, MFA, and Conditional Access policies.The Solution
All Lines Technology integrated the school’s Student Information System with Microsoft Entra ID to automate student account creation and reduce dependency on manual provisioning. This helped ensure that student accounts could be created consistently from authoritative SIS data and managed more efficiently over time.The solution also modernized student and staff access security through Self-Service Password Reset, Entra ID MFA, and Conditional Access policies. Geofencing and location-aware controls were introduced to support stronger access governance and provide additional protection for school resources.
